Duck Boats: Blinds: Decoys and Eastern Seaboard Wildfowling

By: Raymond R. Camp

Price: $65.00

Quantity: 1 available

The author of this book was for many long years the Road-and-Gun Editor of the New York Times. This is an early overview of the history, blinds, areas, equipment, and rules about duck hunting, etc. There are instructions about setting up decoys in lines, etc. The best part of this book however is the wonderful retelling of the early duck hunting stories, the characters who made the stories a reality, and the "big fish" tales. Some illustrations, but primarily text. Condition Fair to Good. Dustjacket torn, but protected in mylar Brodart color. Acid-transfer staining on inside covers from newspaper articles. Otherwise fine. One of the earlier works written on the subject.
